Clifton Beach is Hobart's most accessible surf beach, located about 25km south-east of the city. Facing south-east into Storm Bay, it picks up clean SE to E groundswells and produces quality beach break peaks in a scenic, undeveloped setting. Suits surfers of intermediate ability and above who are prepared for cold Tasmanian water year-round.
