Mermaid Beach is a well-regarded Gold Coast beach break south of Broadbeach, offering quality shifting sand banks and a consistent supply of swell from the open ocean. One of the Gold Coast's less hyped beach breaks, attracting a solid local crew but fewer tourists. On its day it can produce punchy, hollow waves across multiple banks.
