Dee Why is a reliable Northern Beaches beach break that handles a wide range of swell sizes, from small cruisy days to solid 2m swells. The beach faces ESE and catches the full fetch of easterly and southerly swells, with a sheltered lagoon at its northern end popular with beginners. The Point at the southern end forms long, peeling rights on larger swells.
